The Incas also used messengers to send messages to people from far away places. These messengers ran 250 miles each day to send the message to the next chasqui that would be waiting to receive the message. Then, they run next to each other until they figure out part of the message and once they figure part of it out, one of them stops running and the other keeps going until they get the message to the emperor.
